This file (SR-entered.txt) is a list of formerly pending Rules changes that have been folded into the Standing Rules (SR.html), likely modified from what you see here. Each item to be considered is in a block of text, separated by a line of "====" from other blocks. Each item should have a date of entry into this file. The text is carried over from SR-pending.txt, including the date of entry into that file. ================================================================ ================================================================ ==== 1997-03-IM603.1 ---- 2015-06-27 -dgg- Disposition: Discount policies are described in SR 4.2(12)F ================================================================ IM #603 3/05/1997 (a) E-Board (2/27): Borders has ordered 25 of our small remaining supply of Yolen books. But further research revealed: Both Davey and Dave assert that "woodchuck" was never mentioned. The word was "groundhog"; IM #661 3/15/2000 Fiat (David A. Cantor, FN, official groundhog): All requests for Groundhog predictions should be submitted to the Groundhog no later than sunset, 1 February for opinions to be rendered the morning of 2 February. IM #814 Feb 2009 Dave requested that he no longer be the official groundhog. The Clerk, attempting to be funny, recorded it as no resolution, but in fact, a motion did carry that Dave C. be allowed to stop being a ground hog. [In a discussion with the then-clerk (Rick Katze) on 7/8/15, he remembered doing that and admitted that he was being whimsical in the way he recorded it!] Proposed changes: Add to Appendix A: A.15(23)M MSP (Davey Snyder) to appoint Dave Cantor as the official NESFA groundhog. [2/98: This was reported as "woodchuck", but both Davey Snyder and Dave Cantor assert that "woodchuck" was never mentioned. The word was "groundhog".] A.15(24)F (David A. Cantor, FN, official groundhog): All requests for Groundhog predictions should be submitted to the Groundhog no later than sunset, 1 February for opinions to be rendered the morning of 2 February. The Clerk (Rick Katze), attempting to be funny, recorded it as no resolution, but in fact, a motion did carry that Dave C. be allowed to stop being a groundhog.[2/09]
